NEW ORLEANS - Remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur continue to impact southeast Louisiana. High-winds, flash-flooding and lightning brought approximately 37,000 outages across the region overnight and into this morning. Additional weather from another system is expected to impact Louisiana tomorrow with another round of rain in already saturated areas.
Our crews are mobilized and responding as safely and as quickly as possible. The safety of our employees, customers and communities always comes first.
Customers should remain mindful of safety hazards that may be present after a storm, such as downed power lines and debris. Always assume downed power lines are energized and keep a safe distance. To report an outage or hazardous condition, please use our online customer service channels or call 1-800-9OUTAGE (1-800-968-8243).
We encourage our customers to stay informed by visiting our online outage map, which provides the most up-to-date information on outage locations and estimated restoration times once available. The map is updated in real time as new information becomes available.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work diligently to restore power to all affected customers.
