The United States and the Republic of Korea (ROK) held bilateral meetings to advance consultations on nuclear cooperation initiatives from June 2-3 in Seoul.

Following the opening session with Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker and First Vice Foreign Minister Park Yoon-joo, sector-specific discussions were held under the leadership of the White House National Security Council and the National Security Office of the Blue House, with interagency representatives from the United States and the ROK.

Both sides committed to work towards delivering tangible outcomes as quickly as possible to establish milestones for reviewing progress throughout the year and to accelerate future consultations.
