Art Basel and Airbnb are continuing their global partnership this fall at Art Basel Paris, building on a first year that offered travelers unique stays and connected them to the artists and tastemakers shaping the art world.

Two experiences are bookable on Airbnb starting September 24 at 10:00 AM ET/7:00 AM PT: a hands-on painting workshop with artist Szabolcs Bozó, held on the Grand Palais terrace before the fair opens, and a rare after-hours tour led by Arthur Hadade, CUR8 CEO and co-founder, who guides guests through standout artworks and offers a first look at works being installed for the following day.

Paint at Art Basel with a renowned artist

Szabolcs Bozó is a Hungarian painter based in London whose signature whimsical, large-format work was exhibited at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2022 and 2023. Inspired by Hungarian folklore, cartoons, and coloring books, Bozó's work has been featured in museums and galleries worldwide.

This artist-led workshop brings guests into the Grand Palais before doors open to the public. Guests watch Bozó's creative process live, then paint their own pieces in his signature style alongside fellow art lovers, with personalized feedback from the artist. A one-day general admission fair ticket is included.

Rare after-hours tour of Art Basel Paris

A private Airbnb Luxe residence, steps from the fair

During Art Basel Paris, Airbnb is taking over a private Airbnb Luxe residence just steps from the Grand Palais to become a home away from the fair for collectors, exhibitors, and VIP fair attendees. By day, select guests can step out of the crowds to rest, work, or meet the artist in residence, Alice Guittard. Programming shifts from day to day, featuring Airbnb Experiences and Services-from hands-on workshops like croissant making to complimentary massages-alongside wine and cuisine curated by chefs. The residence is invitation-only during the fair.

Continuing the Artist Travel Grant Program

To champion the arts on a global scale, Airbnb is continuing its $1.2 million Artist Travel Grant Program, developed in collaboration with Art Basel and announced in September 2025. The program supports travel for emerging artists and galleries. Each Art Basel fair director nominates potential recipients, highlighting new exhibitors, ambitious practices, and pioneering voices that shape cultural discourse across the arts and beyond.
