Shaheen Leads New Hampshire Delegation, Bicameral Group of Lawmakers in Urging HUD To Expedite Release of Critical Housing Grant Funding to Prevent Homelessness, Service Cuts

The lawmakers wrote, in part: "We write to express our grave concerns regarding the delayed Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program. For many organizations in our communities, this program is vital to ensuring individuals with HIV/AIDS have access to safe and stable housing. We urge you to release the NOFO immediately and expedite the awards so communities can continue to provide support and housing to those who need it."
