Defence Secretary inspects construction work atDefence Headquarters Complex Project

Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) conducted an inspection visit to the construction site of the Defence Headquarters Complex in Akuregoda today, October 26.

Accompanied by the Director and officials of the project, the Defence Secretary visited the construction sites and work shops.

The Director of the Project, Air Vice Marshal Rohan Pathirage briefed the Secretary on the progress of the project. The Defence Secretary provided the necessary directions to expedite the completion of the project.

Additional Secretary (Technical) Eng. Ms. W R N R Premachandra and the Military Liaison Officer of the Defence Ministry, officials of the project also joined the visit.
