Delayed: Nodaway County Route VV Platte River Bridge to close July 6

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Nodaway County Route VV Platte River Bridge, near Conception, was scheduled to close today, Monday, June 22, but has been delayed until July 6 due to contractor schedule changes. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Louis-Company, to complete a bridge replacement project.

Traffic Impacts: The Route VV bridge will be closed through early December 2026. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure.
