Cranberry, Marshall Township Agree to Payment

As part of an ongoing intermunicipal agreement, a neighboring Township will contribute financially to capital improvements at the Brush Creek Treatment Plant.

The Board of Supervisors on November 7 authorized the Marshall Township Municipal Sanitary Authority/Cranberry Township Capital Improvement Payment Agreement. The agreement means Marshall Township will contribute roughly $6.3 million toward Treatment Plant solid upgrades.

The Brush Creek facility provides service to Marshall Township through the agreement.
