Senate Banking Committee to Hold Nomination Hearing

The Senate Banking Committee will hold a hearing tomorrow, October 30, on the nomination of Travis Hill to be FDIC chairman. Hill is currently acting FDIC chairman. The committee will also hear from four other nominees: Joseph Gormley to be president of the Government National Mortgage Association in the Department of Housing and Urban Development; Francis Cassidy to be assistant secretary, HUD; Paul Hollis to be director of the U.S. Mint; and Bryce McFerran to be first VP of the Export-Import Bank.
