Bennington Resident Sentenced for Possession of Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Devices

The Attorney General's Office today announced that Max Misch, 42, of Bennington, Vermont, was sentenced in Vermont Superior Court, Bennington Criminal Division, following a one-day trial where a jury found Mr. Misch guilty of two misdemeanor counts of possession of large capacity ammunition feeding devices.

This case against Mr. Misch was brought by the Attorney General's Office in February 2019 as the result of a criminal investigation conducted by the Vermont State Police with the assistance of the Bennington Police Department.

The Court, Judge Jennifer Barrett presiding, sentenced Mr. Misch to 14 to 15 days to serve in jail concurrent on each count.
