Mill and Fill on Route 12 River Road in Lisbon

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a mill and fill project will be performed on Route 12 (River Road) in Lisbon. This project is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, May 13 and be completed on Monday, May 18, 2026. Project No. DOT01720558CN "HH" consists of milling and filling a 0.45-mile segment of Route 12 (River Road) in Lisbon from Dogwood Drive to the I-395 northbound access ramp. This project is scheduled to begin milling and filling on Wednesday evening, May 13 to Monday morning, May 18, 2026.

This project is included in CTDOT's 2026 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 12 (River Road) in Lisbon from Dogwood Drive to the I-395 northbound access ramp. Traffic control personnel, crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The nighttime work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Wednesday to Monday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
