Statement on the Passing of Former U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Richard 'Dick' Lesher
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce issued the following statement on the passing of former U.S. Chamber President Richard "Dick" Lesher:
"All of us at the Chamber are grateful for the service of prior generations of business leaders, on whose shoulders we stand today. As one of only three Chamber presidents in the past half century, Dick Lesher played an important role serving the American business community during a period of rapid growth and advancement for our country. We send our heartfelt condolences to his friends and family as they remember his life and legacy."
