Washer Rebate Program

City of Cloverdale- High Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebates

The City of Cloverdale is pleased to offer a $200 rebate to residential water and/or sewer service customers who purchase and install a new, qualifying high-efficiency clothes washer.

Clothes washing machines account for about 17% of water used inside the home. Running a conventional washing machine can use between 30-45 gallons of water per cycle. New technology has replaced water guzzling clothes washers with high-efficiency models that use less water and energy. Most full-sized high-efficiency clothes washers use 18-25 gallons of water per load. These new washers are readily available in retail stores and are one of the most effective ways to reduce your indoor water usage.

How do I Participate?

Replace a top-loading clothes washer with a qualifying front-loading clothes washer and receive a rebate.

Rebates are available for models listed under "Tier 2" and "Advanced Tier" on the current Consortium for Energy Efficiency's "Super-Efficient Home Appliance Initiative Clothes Washer Qualifying Product List". Models that use silver ion technology and models listed under "Tier 1" are not eligible.

Complete and submit your online application HERE. Please submit your application no later than June 26th, 2026 to be eligible for the rebate.
