The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova informs that the MFA Crisis Cell is operating on a permanent basis and is monitoring security developments in the region, in coordination with the Republic of Moldova's diplomatic missions.
Updated information for citizens:
According to information provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the State of Israel, following checks carried out with the Israeli authorities, no casualties or injured persons have been recorded among citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
Citizens are advised to strictly follow the instructions of the local authorities and remain vigilant.

In connection with the security incident of 28 February (missile and drone attacks on military targets, including Al-Udeid Air Base):
Following checks carried out with the Qatari authorities, no casualties or injured persons have been recorded among citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
Airspace remains closed.
Qatari authorities announced that the situation is under control and urged the population to stay at home and avoid non-essential travel.
