Waco thrives when we look after the land and each other. This Earth Day, our community is coming together to show that sustainability is built through small, everyday habits. It is more than just a single project or a large event. It is the steady work of keeping our neighborhoods clean and our local resources healthy.
We have a variety of events planned that are perfect for the whole family. Come learn about simple ways to help at home or join a group effort to improve our shared spaces. We hope you will join us for one of the following programs to see how much we can achieve together.
06 Mar 2026 Now through May, organize your own neighborhood cleanup. Our partner, Keep Waco Beautiful, provides the tools. All you need to do is gather your group, select one of many pre-determind locations, and register online.
25 Apr 2026 Join us for the Care for Waco Carnival! Celebrate Earth Day at the Waco Farmer's Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 25. Enjoy food, games, face painting, and arts and crafts while learning about water conversation, composting, gardening, recycling, and nutrition.
25 Apr 2026 You're invited to the annual National Arbor Day Celebration! Together, we can contribute to the health and well-being of Waco's trees.
