Mayor Parker will join City Council Majority Leader Katherine Gilmore Richardson for a ceremonial bill signing recognizing legislation addressing deed fraud in Philadelphia.

Bill No. 250574 allows refunds of realty transfer tax for victims of deed fraud, helping residents recover some costs associated with having their deed stolen. It is a part of the Department of Records strategy to address deed fraud on multiple fronts.
