NIST-Validated Cryptography for Vector's Software Library: How Customers Benefit

2026-07-06

Vector's cryptographic library vSecPrim has successfully achieved validation under the NIST Cryptographic Algorithm Validation Program (CAVP).

This library implements a broad range of cryptographic primitives that constitute the fundamental basis for the development of secure, standards-compliant cryptographic services and applications.

Validations under CAVP confirm that the implemented algorithms conform to established standards through rigorous, standardized testing procedures.

While CAVP validation focuses on the conformance of individual algorithms rather than complete system or module certification, it represents an important building block for developing secure and reliable systems.

For customers, this means increased trust in the Cybersecurity of their systems. Validated cryptography minimizes development risks, accelerates deployment in security-sensitive environments and ensures greater interoperability and maintainability.
