Today (10.23), rising country artist Wesko releases his new track "Feel Something" via Warner Records. Blending influences of heartland rock and the time-honored storytelling of country music, "Feel Something" captures the restless pursuit of anything that can cut through the numbness and make you feel alive. From standing on the edge of a cliff to fighting for the hell of it, Wesko finds beauty in life's most visceral moments.

"'Feel Something' is one of my favorite songs I've ever written," says Wesko. "It's about how raw being a human being can be, and how sometimes, feeling pain or sadness or any basic emotion is great just because it familiarizes you with the blessing that living life really is. As far as the music goes, I'm incredibly proud of how it turned out. It's got a little Southern flair mixed with the heartland rock I grew up on."

Produced by Ryan Gore (Thomas Rhett, Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves) and written by Wesko (aka Wesley Keith Holmes) alongside Sam Backoff (The Band Perry), KK Johnson (Warren Zeiders) and Gore, "Feel Something" opens with a free-spirited harmonica run as Wesko's unmistakable voice carries listeners through a raw, reckless search to feel every ounce of emotion life has to offer. It's a reminder that, whether good or bad, there's beauty in feeling something rather than nothing at all.

"Feel Something" follows Wesko's recently released tracks "Big Bad Love " and "By Way of Alabama," the latter of which MusicRow praised as "completely captivating, refreshingly different and totally country." Wesko also performed "By Way of Alabama" as part of the newly launched Raised RowdyRaw Sessions. Watch here: youtu.be/vVG1Lv2xAA0?si=4dl1RLz1ZT-wP9I2

Wesko is set to release a four-track EP this winter, followed by his Warner Records full-length debut expected in 2027. The former erosion-control foreman turned country artist recently sat down with CountrySwag to share more about his journey leading up to the new music and what fans can expect in the coming year. About Wesko:

Hailing from Duplin County in southeast North Carolina, Wesko crafts hearty and hefty country music, embracing the traditional sounds of the genre, while incorporating the gritty '90s rock his parents raised him on. At age 19, he picked up a guitar while attending the University of Mount Olive and working as an erosion-control foreman, and within a year he was writing songs before stepping onstage for the first time on a dare from a stranger at a Nashville bar at 21 years old. Wesko has since played the Concert for Carolina at Luke Combs' request, and throughout 2026 he has toured with 49 Winchester, Warren Zeiders, Dwight Yoakam and ZZ Top, with new dates to be announced soon. On May 29, 2026, Wesko released an all-acoustic 4-song EP titled FAMILIAR SPIRITS, followed by new tracks "Big Bad Love," "By Way of Alabama" and most recently, "Feel Something." Wesko is set to release more new music leading up to his major-label debut record in 2027.
