The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) Fall Recreation Guide for September to December is now available to view online. Registration opens Thursday, September 3, 2026.
The RDOS is offering a diverse lineup of recreation programs and events this fall, with opportunities for residents of all ages to stay active, learn new skills, and connect with their communities.
Highlights from the Fall Recreation Guide include children's programs such as Petite Crafters, Creative Project Makers, Outdoor Adventures, and Community Open Gym in Okanagan Falls, along with Youth Sports Agility & Callisthenics, Youth Guitar, and Whittling programs in the Similkameen.
Adults and older adults can take part in a variety of fitness and wellness programs, including Tone & Sculpt, Mat Pilates, PiYo, Actively Aging, Osteo Yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi, Flow Yoga, Cycle & Sculpt, and Balance, Core, Mobility & Range of Motion classes.
The guide also features unique pop-up programs such as Yoga Basics, CraftaPalooza, Beats Cardio Drumming, Community Jam Night, and the Worm Art & Environmental Art Talk.
Seasonal events include Halloween Pumpkin Hunt and Movie Night, Halloween Pumpkin Hunt at Garnett Family Park, the Fall Warrior fitness fundraiser supporting the BC SPCA South Okanagan/Similkameen, and community holiday programming planned for December.
Residents can create an online account using the RDOS Recreation Software to register for programs and book sports courts, parks, and facilities.
