SoCalGas Company Utility Mainline Repair on Manhattan Beach Boulevard at Sepulveda Boulevard

On November 17, 2025, SoCalGas will mobilize its subcontractor, SE Pipeline, for a gas line repair along westbound Manhattan Beach Boulevard at Sepulveda Boulevard. This mandatory safety work is a follow-up repair stemming from a prior emergency leak repair.

The SoCalGas repair work involves replacing a segment of steel pipeline located on the east side of the intersection. The permit was approved, including approval of the Traffic Control Plan. Two lane closures along westbound Manhattan Beach Boulevard between Magnolia Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard are necessary to ensure the safety and completion of the trench work. Digital message signs have been installed at Peck Avenue and Redondo Avenue to provide advance notice to the traveling public.

The repair work and associated traffic control measures will take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. No construction will take place on November 27th-28th (Thanksgiving Holiday). This gas line work is anticipated to be completed by the end of November 2025, weather permitting.
