Kevin Ginsburg, M.D., MS, urologic oncologist and member of the Genitourinary Oncology Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos, explained the types of nephrectomies, how long kidney cancer patients can expect to stay in the hospital depending on the type of surgery they have and what patients are allowed to consume before and after surgery.
