KBR and Frazer-Nash Consultancy welcome the UK Government’s greenlight for Sizewell C and Rolls-Royce SMR

Frazer-Nash Consultancy, along with parent company KBR (NYSE: KBR), have shared their response to the UK Government's confirmation that nuclear power plant Sizewell C will be built, and that Rolls-Royce SMR has been confirmed as the preferred technology partner for small modular reactors in the UK.

Sizewell C will provide low-carbon energy to 6 million homes over its 60-year life and much needed high skilled jobs in the nuclear sector. Additionally, yesterday's announcement has underlined the vital role that small modular nuclear reactors will play in the low-carbon economy, providing power to the grid and also decarbonising key industries in the UK.
