RICHMOND, Va., March 30, 2026 - Remission Medical today announced the appointment of Blake Siewert as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Siewert will lead the company's commercial strategy, growth initiatives, and partnerships with health systems and specialty practices.
Access to rheumatology care remains one of the most persistent challenges in modern healthcare. Patients often wait months for evaluation, delaying diagnosis, treatment, and long-term outcomes for autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. Remission Medical was built to address this gap by partnering with health systems and specialty practices to expand access to high-quality rheumatology care. The company's model is designed to extend clinical capacity while preserving the integrity of care delivery - integrating directly into existing EHRs, workflows, and care teams so patients remain within the health system.
"Access to specialty care is a growing challenge for health systems across the country," said Blake Wehman, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Remission Medical. "Blake Siewert brings a deep understanding of how to build and scale partnerships that expand access while aligning with how care is delivered today. His leadership will be critical as we continue to grow and support our partners."
Siewert has more than 20 years of executive leadership experience across healthcare, technology, and professional services. He brings a proven track record of building and scaling high-growth organizations, developing strategic partnerships, and leading commercial transformation across both emerging and established enterprises. Prior to joining Remission Medical, Siewert held senior leadership roles at Siemens Healthineers, where he led growth and innovation initiatives focused on workforce solutions and technology-enabled service models.
"Health systems are navigating increasing demand for specialty care alongside constrained access," said Siewert. "Remission Medical is uniquely positioned to help expand access through a model that is clinically integrated and aligned with existing care delivery. I'm excited to join the team and help build on that foundation."
As Chief Revenue Officer, Siewert will focus on advancing partnerships with health systems and specialty practices, helping expand access to rheumatology care while supporting improved patient outcomes and system-wide continuity of care.
