The Fargo Police Department (FPD) has arrested a second suspect in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred December 4, 2024, in the 4500 block of 47th Street South. The shooting victim, Rahsaan Wilson, was transported to a local medical facility and later passed away from his injuries.
FPD investigators identified Patrick Michael Martin Jr., a 24-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, as a second suspect in the shooting. Representatives of the FPD's Criminal Investigation Division arrested Martin on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. He faces charges of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery. At the time of his arrest, Martin was already being held in the Cass County Jail on charges unrelated to the shooting.
Steven Burrell, the first suspect identified by the FPD, is currently being held in Louisiana on other charges in that jurisdiction. The Fargo Police Department is working closely with the Cass County State's Attorney's Office to bring murder and conspiracy to commit robbery charges against Burrell, a 30-year-old Fargo resident.
