Raleigh Parks Health and Wellness, in partnership with the QPR Institute will host a free Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Training on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jaycee Park Community Center (2405 Wade Ave, Raleigh, NC 27607).
This event is open to all North Carolina residents and is designed to provide suicide prevention knowledge and skills.
Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
