PeeringDB’s 2025 User Survey

PeeringDB is running an anonymous user survey until the end of October 2025. It's been three years since our last survey. We paused because we were receiving similar responses and wanted to make improvements before seeking your input again.

The improvements from our last survey are now live. Thanks to your feedback, we now normalize location data, offer new search options, and track new types of data, including carriers and campuses.

The survey is short. There are just 11 questions, and you don't need to answer them all. You can also leave comments, which are often just as valuable as ratings.

The survey is in English, but dynamic web translation works well, so you can use your preferred tool to translate it. Feel free to comment in any language you're comfortable with.

We're running this survey to understand how well users know the new features, what they like most, and where we should focus next. Your feedback will directly shape PeeringDB's future plans.

As always, the survey is completely anonymous. We don't collect addresses or link responses to individuals.

If you have other ideas to improve PeeringDB, you can share them on our low-traffic mailing lists or create an issue on GitHub. For data quality issues, email us at [email protected].

PeeringDB is a freely available, user-maintained database of networks - the go-to resource for interconnection data. It helps networks connect at Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), data centres, and other interconnection facilities, and is often the first stop for making interconnection decisions.

Please share your thoughts and help guide PeeringDB forward.

Leo Vegoda is PeeringDB's Product Manager.
