MONDAY, September 15
3:30 p.m. - Executive Session
Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

1. For Purposes of the Board receiving legal advice on specific legal questions pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. §24-6-402(4)(b). Purpose: Receive legal advice on matters pertaining to Immigration and Nationality Act Section 287, codified at 8 U.S.C. 1101 et. Seq., related Executive Orders, including number 14287, and US Attorney General Directive regarding Sanctuary Jurisdictions.

TUESDAY, September 16
1:00 p.m. - Special Business Meeting - 2026 Budget
The Board will consider:

1. Presentation of the 2026 Proposed Budget

1. Personnel matters pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(f). Purpose: Personnel meeting with County Attorney and Interim County Manager.

3:00 p.m. - Executive Session - Old Main Post Office
Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

1. The purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of real, personal or other property pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat § 24-6-402 (4)(a). Purpose: Disposition of the Old Main Post Office

THURSDAY, September 18
11:30 a.m. - Counties and Commissioners Acting Together (CCAT) September Interim Policy Meeting
The Board will attend the virtual CCAT September Interim Policy Meeting to participate in county government discussions with Colorado commissioners.

FRIDAY, September 19
9:00 a.m. - CCI Steering Committee Meetings
The Board will attend the Colorado Counties, Inc. (CCI) virtual Steering Committee Meetings.

10:00 a.m. - Counties and Commissioners Acting Together (CCAT) Weekly Member Check-In
The Board will attend the virtual CCAT check-in with Colorado Commissioners.
