In addition to the overall online bachelor's degree, UTSA also landed at No. 37 of 98 institutions that have been recognized as Best Online Programs for Veterans. U.S. News & World Report ranked fully online bachelor programs for veterans by considering each institution's overall rank, the availability of GI Bill or Yellow Ribbon funding, and whether the institution provides maximum Yellow Ribbon funding for tuition costs remaining after Post-9/11 GI Bill funds are applied.
Military-affiliated students can find comprehensive support at the UTSA Center for Military Affiliated students (CMAS). The UTSA CMAS offers resources like the Veterans Certification Office and provides critical links to Department of Veterans Affairs benefits and health services in a convenient, one-stop setting.
UTSA's fully online programs provide opportunities for learners to gain the skills they need, when they need them, to create better lives for themselves and their families. UTSA Online's innovative courses, robust support systems, and focus on quality and affordability ensure education remains accessible to all.
With more than 1,100 students enrolled in Fall 2024, UTSA Online's steady growth reflects the university's strategic investments in high-demand fields such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data science. The creation of UTSA's new College of AI, Cyber and Computing, along with its planned integration with UT Health San Antonio, will further expand the reach and impact of UTSA over the course of 2025 and beyond.
