On Wednesday, Oct. 9 from Noon-2 p.m. in the Theatre Gallery and Lobby, the Career & Experiential Education Center at the Mount hosted 30+ organizations who arrived on campus to hire MSJ students for co-ops/internships and full-time jobs.
Students were encouraged to dress professionally and to bring copies of their resume to demonstrate their professionalism and preparedness for potential opportunities. This event presented unique opportunities for students to talk with representatives from dozens of companies throughout the region from the comfort of the Mount's campus. Additionally, students can continue to build connections with these employers by using Handshake, our online college-to-career network.
"The energy at the career fair was electric! Students were excited to network with employers and learn about new opportunities," said Career & Experiential Education Director, Amanda Meeker.
ArtWorks Cincinnati, Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Brixey & Meyer CPA, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center - Patient Services, Cincinnati Sports Club, and City of Cincinnati - Central Human Resources Department were some among many of the employers and non-profits attending the event.
