Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Healthy Snacking Event for Seniors in Alton

ALTON, Tex., March 27, 2025 - Molina Healthcare of Texas' Grandparents Social Club hosted a healthy snacking event for seniors from the Alton Recreation Center.

Attendees learned about healthy eating habits and nutritious snacks that help individuals maintain a balanced diet. The event featured wholesome snack alternatives that support seniors' dietary needs and promote better energy, bone health, and digestion.

A yogurt/granola station was available where seniors could create customized parfaits with a selection of fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, and whole grains, providing a delicious, balanced snack packed with protein, fiber, and probiotics.

The event also included a chair exercise session featuring gentle, low-impact routines. It focused on movements that seniors could do while seated, promoting flexibility, strength, and circulation.
