There will be no recycling, trash, brush, or large item collections performed by the City of Madison Streets Division on Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
The Streets Division drop-off sites and offices will also be closed.
Friday Collection Day? Set Carts Out on Monday, June 22, 2026.
If your trash and recycling is collected on Fridays by the City of Madison Streets Division, place the scheduled cart (or carts) out for emptying by 6:30am on Monday, June 22, 2026.
If you set the carts out after 6:30am, you may miss your collection opportunity.

Drop-off Sites Information
The Streets Division drop-off sites will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.
They will reopen for their normal posted hours on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Please be aware that the entrance to the Quann-Olin Parkway drop-off site is actually on Quann-Olin Parkway. Follow the street signs. Use our map. Your phone will not give you the correct directions to the entrance.
Resident Service Office Information
Streets Division offices to answer questions, help set up large item work orders, and other customer service style questions regarding Streets Division services will be closed on June 19, 2026.
Offices will reopen on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 7:30am.
