Law Department Awarded as Bar Champion by Philadelphia Bar Association

The Law Department is honored to announce that it has been awarded the Philadelphia Bar Association's Bar Champion Award, which honors legal organizations that demonstrate exceptional support through 100% membership, leadership involvement, active engagement, and meaningful community service.

Through the Law Department's institutional partnership, all our professional staff and attorneys are offered the benefit of a membership with the Philadelphia Bar Association. The Bar's extensive, high-quality member benefits - from free CLE courses and ethics guidance to discounted services - empower our staff to utilize the resources that support their professional growth and broaden their experience in the legal industry. Members of the Law Department are regular contributors to the Philadelphia Bar Reporter, proudly serve in leadership through governance and committee involvement, and enjoy networking opportunities with other legal professionals through the Bar.

We're thrilled to close out 2025 with this wonderful recognition and look forward to growing our collaboration even more in the coming year. We hope to celebrate with you on November 12.

"The Philadelphia Bar Association is a vital network connecting legal professionals across the private and public sectors," said Renee Garcia, City Solicitor. "Through our institutional membership, our legal professionals have developed practical skills, formed valuable partnerships, and exchanged ideas that strengthen our ability to serve the city. In an evolving legal landscape, we are grateful to be part of this community as we work together toward a vibrant and equitable future for Philadelphia."
