Emergency Communications Director Announces the Promotion of 3 DEC Veterans into New Leadership Roles

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 7, 2025) - Nashville Department of Emergency Communications (DEC) Director Stephen Martini has announced the promotion of three team members into new leadership roles.

Izeko Floyd, 15-year DEC veteran, has been promoted to Emergency Telecommunications Manager assigned to the Operations Division.

Sonia Strain, 5-year DEC veteran, has been promoted to Emergency Communications Supervisor assigned to the Operations Division.

Donna Jarrell, 5-year DEC veteran, has been promoted to Emergency Communications Supervisor assigned to the Support Services Division.

These individuals have demonstrated the leadership, experience, and dedication needed to support DEC's mission and personnel who serve the public 24/7, 365 days a year.
