House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Education Performance Metrics and Workforce Stability to Hold Third Meeting in Columbus

ATLANTA - The House Study Committee on Education Performance Metrics and Workforce Stability, chaired by State Representative Bethany Ballard (R-Warner Robins), will hold its third meeting on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Columbus State University in Columbus, Ga.

During the meeting, members of the study committee will discuss House Resolution 1582, sponsored by State Representative Carmen Rice (R-Columbus) during the 2026 legislative session.

The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Education Performance Metrics and Workforce Stability will evaluate Georgia's education evaluation measures to strengthen accountability, improve student success and strengthen teacher recruitment and retention.
