Today at approximately 1:00 p.m., a vehicle traveling westbound in the 15300 block of SE Mill Plain Blvd. rear-ended another vehicle near the 'No Kings' protest in east Vancouver. The impact pushed the vehicle onto a section of the sidewalk.

A pedestrian attempting to move out of the way fell and sustained minor injuries. No protesters were hit by any vehicles, and no one was transported to the hospital. Medical personnel evaluated the pedestrian on scene.

The driver of the vehicle, Jason Miller, had reportedly been driving recklessly prior to the crash and was arrested on suspicion of DUI and Reckless Driving. The Vancouver Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating.
