Veterans Memorial Ceremony and Resource Fair: Monday, Nov. 10

The City of Bellflower invites community members to attend its annual Veterans Memorial Ceremony and Resource Fair on Monday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon. at the Veterans Memorial, located at 9918 Flower St. This commemorative event honors the service and sacrifice of military veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces.

Bellflower celebrates the service and sacrifice of local veterans and active-duty military personnel through the Bellflower Honors Program. Residents can honor a service member with a commemorative brick to be installed at the Veterans Memorial or with a street pole banner that will be proudly displayed for one year along Flower Street and Alondra Boulevard.

Following the ceremony, attendees are encouraged to visit the on-site Veterans Resource Fair, featuring local and regional organizations offering information and support services for veterans and their families. Resources will include health care, housing assistance, education benefits, employment services and more.

The City of Bellflower is proud to recognize and support those who have served and continues to promote awareness of the resources available to the veteran community.
