On Wednesday, February 18, Mayor Jane Castor and Congresswoman Kathy Castor will join the Climate Action Campaign for an Extreme Weather People's Hearing.
The hearing will highlight how increasingly extreme weather events are threatening the lives and livelihoods of residents in Tampa Bay. The event will feature environmental advocates, public-health experts, and others who will speak in detail about how climate-fueled weather events, heat waves, sea-level rise, and flooding have had impacts throughout the Tampa Bay area.
