Death Investigation in the Area of 204 Garfield Avenue in Hyde Park

At about 1:14 PM, on Friday, November 8th, 2024, officers assigned to District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to the area of 204 Garfield Avenue for a report of shots fired and a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A suspect was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in court on Tuesday morning.
