Applications are now open for City-Appointed Seats on the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation Board

The City of Simi Valley is seeking passionate individuals to serve on the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation Board, the fundraising arm of the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center (CAC). Foundation Board Members play a key role in supporting the arts by helping fund vital programming that brings artistic, cultural, and educational experiences to our community.

The Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that serves as the fundraising arm of the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center (CAC), supporting artistic, cultural, and educational programs. Of the 21-member Board, seven are appointed by the City Council.

Those with experience in non-profit fundraising, arts advocacy, finance, or community leadership are highly encouraged to apply. The open positions have terms beginning July 1, 2026, and ending on June 30, 2030. Foundation Board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center.

The Foundation hosts fundraising events throughout the year, including the Spotlight Awards, which honors local artists, educators, volunteers, and patrons for their contributions to the arts community in Simi Valley. The Foundation also hosts special "Foundation Nights" for members during Mainstage productions at the CAC.

Applications to serve on the Foundation are available on the City's website at https://www.simivalley.org/FoundationApp. The application deadline is 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026.
