ASRM is ushering in an evolution of its Scientific Congress & Expo weekend programming with the debut of the Master Class Summit, a full-day educational experience designed to replace the traditional Postgraduate (PG) Courses and meet the needs of today's reproductive medicine professionals

The Master Class Summit reflects a deliberate shift toward immersive, applied, and highly customizable learning. Built around meaningful engagement and real-world skill development, the Summit offers attendees direct access to expert faculty, flexible session options, and practical takeaways that can be immediately applied in clinical practice.

"Reproductive medicine is evolving faster than ever," said Callie Armstead, ASRM's Educational Meetings Manager. "To truly serve today's learners, we have to meet them where they are. Our attendees are seeking immersive experiences, meaningful engagement, and practical learning they can immediately apply, and the Master Class Summit delivers all of that in a way we've never done before at ASRM."

Unlike the traditional PG course model, the Master Class Summit is intentionally designed to be more flexible, interactive, and accessible. With a mix-and-match schedule offered at a lower cost, participants can build a personalized day of learning aligned with their professional goals, interests, and schedules. Applied learning is front and center, giving attendees hands-on opportunities and direct engagement with leading experts across the field.

The Summit will feature three dynamic session types:

  • Key Voice sessions highlight influential speakers addressing timely topics shaping reproductive medicine, with focused presentations and interactive Q&A.
  • Skills Sprint workshops offer intensive, skills-based training through case-based learning, applied techniques, and hands-on instruction.
  • Global Exchange sessions are developed in collaboration with ASRM's international partners, showcasing diverse clinical perspectives and global approaches to reproductive care.

"This program represents an exciting evolution of our flagship meeting," Armstead said. "It reflects ASRM's commitment to innovation, accessibility, and meaningful learning. It's exactly what our attendees have been asking for, and I can't wait for them to experience it."

The inaugural Master Class Summit is the result of strong leadership and collective vision across the organization. ASRM President Dr. Robert Brannigan, 2026 Program Chairs Drs. Kathleen Hwang and Josh Halpern, Chief Education & Scientific Officer Dr. Chevis N. Shannon, CEO Jared Robins, and the ASRM Program Planning Committee played critical roles in championing this change and bringing the new format to life.

With its debut at the 2026 Congress, the ASRM Master Class Summit marks a significant step forward-one that prioritizes engagement, innovation, and impactful learning to better serve reproductive medicine professionals and, ultimately, the patients they care for.
