Tanner Health Foundation Welcomes Four New Trustees

Tanner Health Foundation has appointed four new members to its board of trustees who will help guide the organization's philanthropic endeavors to advance health care across the region.

The foundation's new trustees are Lynn Blackburn, Newton Jennings, Trey Travis and Kyle Williamson.

Together, they bring a wide range of expertise in business, community service and leadership.

"Each of our trustees brings unique experiences and perspectives to the table," said Nichole Fannin, executive director of Tanner Health Foundation. "I look forward to seeing how our new members will use their talents and passion to help strengthen philanthropy and advance the mission of Tanner Health."

Trey Fleck, chairman for Tanner Health Foundation, Inc. board of directors, said he is eager to see the impact the new trustees will make supporting the foundation's mission of charitable giving and improving the quality of care and services Tanner delivers across west Georgia and east Alabama.

"The geographic reach they provide, coupled with their extensive qualifications, will greatly enhance Tanner Health Foundation," said Fleck.

Lynn Blackburn
Blackburn is a retired real estate broker and certified appraiser who now dedicates her time to the arts and community service. A graduate of the University of West Georgia, she studied painting in New York, Arizona and France, specializing in wildlife art that is now part of private and commercial collections. She has served on numerous community and hospital boards and, alongside her husband, manages Blackburn Ridge and Hollows and Horseshoe Farms - home to their nationally recognized English setters.

Newton Jennings, CIC

Jenningsis senior executive vice president and managing director at Marsh McLennan Agency, where he advises clients across industries on insurance and risk management strategies. A graduate of Auburn University, he holds property and casualty agent and counselor licenses, along with the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. He lives in Carrollton with his wife and three sons and is active in his church and community.

Trey Travis

Travis is vice president of operations and a third-generation co-owner of Southeastern Hose Inc., an industrial hose fabrication company serving diverse industries nationwide. A Bremen High School and Auburn University graduate, he is also a founding board member of the Strong House Foundation, a Haralson County nonprofit supporting underserved youth. He also volunteers as a wrestling coach at Central High School. Travis and his wife, Tiffany, live in Carrollton with their son, Quade, and attend Southern Hills Church at City Station.

Kyle Williamson
Williamson is founder and CEO of SyncGlobal Telecom and its parent company, SynchroNet Inc. With more than two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, he has led the design of CLECnetworks, guided next-generation technology development and navigated complex regulatory challenges. A Georgia Tech graduate in electrical engineering, he began his career at Northern Telecommunications before launching multiple successful ventures to strengthen communications infrastructure in west Georgia and beyond.

The Tanner Health Foundation Board of Trustees guides philanthropic initiatives, engages community support and helps ensure resources are directed to meet the region's most pressing healthcare needs.

Tanner Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the mission of Tanner Health through the community's philanthropic efforts. Tanner Health serves the healthcare needs of west Georgia and east Alabama.
