Sunday Morning Fight Outside Club La Danse on Rosa L. Parks Blvd Leads to Gunfire; 3 Persons Wounded

Specialized Investigations Division detectives are pursuing strong leads as they work to identify the persons responsible for this morning's 2:30 a.m. gunfire outside La Danse nightclub on Rosa L. Parks Boulevard. Three persons, two men ages 27 and 28, and a 24-year-old woman, were wounded.

The investigation shows that a fight between women broke out inside of the club. Security broke it up and forced the participants to leave. A group of men then started fighting and they, too, were forced to leave. Once outside, several men continued fighting. At least one of them, a black man wearing an orange hat, orange shoes, an orange bandana and light colored jeans, pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots. People then fled the scene.

First responding officers found the 28-year-old victim on the sidewalk critically wounded. The 27-year-old had a wound to his elbow. The woman had a non-critical wound to her back.

The investigation remains active.
