COLUMBUS-State Representative Meredith Craig (R-Smithville) is pleased to announce that the Prentke Romich Company was recently approved for funding to support expansion efforts, which will spur local economic development and create jobs.

Prentke Romich will receive funding through the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA), creating 60 new full-time equivalent jobs and generating $5.1 million in new payroll. The project will reconfigure approximately 28,500 square feet of office space to accommodate workforce growth.

"I am grateful for businesses like Prentke Romich that not only build up our local economy by providing quality job opportunities but invest in the health and wellbeing of our communities through the products they manufacture," said Craig.

Prentke Romich develops and manufactures augmentative communication devices, computer access products, and other assistive technology for adults and children with complex communication disorders.

The TCA approved 12 projects that will create 1,126 new jobs and retain 2,686 jobs throughout Ohio.
