At HHHunt, our brand promise to be an engaged community partner is at the heart of who we are. We are committed to volunteering and making a positive impact in the places we call home. This month, our HHHunt Homes team in Raleigh, North Carolina, put that promise into action by giving their time to make a difference close to home.
Team members spent a few hours volunteering with Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, where they packed hundreds of food bags for the Backpack Buddies Program. The program provides children with nutritious food to take home during the weekend when school meals are not available.
Our work with Inter-Faith Food Shuttle has taken many forms over the years. HHHunt team members have volunteered on the farm and lent a hand in the warehouses. They have also had the opportunity to deliver food directly into the Raleigh community. We are grateful for our continued relationship and proud to contribute to the important work they do.
Based in Raleigh, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is a nonprofit working to end hunger through its mission to feed, teach and grow. Through programs like Backpack Buddies and the support of volunteers, the non-profit organization helps make nutritious food more accessible.
