Baker McKenzie Bolsters Global Employment & Compensation Practice with Addition of Dimitri Van Uytvanck in Brussels

Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie is pleased to announce the addition of Dimitri Van Uytvanck as a partner and head of the Firm's Belgium Employment & Compensation Practice, effective 2 January 2025. Dimitri is based in Brussels and joins the Firm from Simmons & Simmons.

Dimitri is a recognized expert in labor law and social security law. He has a particular focus on the employment law aspects of corporate restructurings, transfer of undertakings, flexible working arrangements and privacy. He regularly advises a broad range of clients across the financial institutions, life sciences, technology, media and telecommunications, and energy and infrastructure sectors. Dimitri also advises clients in connection with remuneration packages for executives, employee benefits schemes, employment contracts, labor union relations within companies and other business-critical issues.
