London Stock Exchange was delighted to welcome The King's Trust this morning to celebrate five decades of supporting young people.
The morning was topped off with a look towards the future with an exciting announcement of a significant new initiative to help equip young people with the AI and digital skills needed for the future world of work. Through this new initiative The King's Trust have the aspiration to reach one million young people with this support.
The King's Trust unveiled plans for AI qualifications and training programmes designed to ensure young people can confidently navigate an increasingly AI-enabled economy. The initiative is supported by a transformational $1.7 million grant from Google.org, which will help provide AI skills training for entrepreneurship to 24,000 young people over the next two years.
Building on a legacy of supporting more than 1.3 million young people since 1976, The King's Trust is working with technology professionals, employers and young people to better understand the skills required in the workplace of tomorrow.
The announcement reflects The King's Trust's ongoing commitment to helping young people from all backgrounds develop the confidence, skills and opportunities they need to succeed.
