The City has been made aware of concerns regarding potential omissions of certain offices, races, or candidates that may not appear on some voters' ballots. Please note, the City contracts with the County of Los Angeles to consolidate our elections. For the June 2, 2026 Primary Election, the City of Pomona has eight different ballot versions due to varying election district boundaries and overlapping jurisdictions.
Ballots are mailed to registered voters based on the voter registration on file. That address determines which City Council districts, school districts, state and federal offices are listed on the individual's ballot. The City does not determine, nor alter, the voter registration address submitted by individuals.
The City takes these concerns seriously and has reviewed the matter with the County of Los Angeles. Based on that review, the City can state with confidence that the integrity and accuracy of the ballots issued are being maintained in accordance with each voter's registered address and applicable district boundaries.
