Kirkland Advises General Catalyst in Partnership with Amazon Web Services

Kirkland & Ellis advised global investment and transformation company General Catalyst in a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), which will focus on co-developing and deploying integrated AI-powered solutions that address critical needs in predictive and personalized care, interoperability, operational and clinical efficiency, diagnostics, and patient engagement. The partnership was announced during the 2025 J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference. As part of the partnership, General Catalyst will tap its healthcare footprint, which includes portfolio companies Commure and Aidoc. These companies will integrate AWS's AI and data capabilities to help them respond at unprecedented speed and scale.
