The Radical Left's reactions in North Carolina to the assassination of Charlie Kirk has unmasked the problem of political violence within the modern Democrat Party.
Just a few examples:
Durham
The Durham Chief of Police posted on social media that Charlie Kirk "disguised himself as a Christian" and lied about Kirk's views. To no one's surprise, Durham's Mayor backed the chief along with the City Council.
Pinebluff
The Mayor of Moore County's Pinebluff called Kirk a racist and criticized a peaceful vigil being held in his honor.
Trinity
Just one of many public school teachers writing about Kirk was Heidy Varner, accusing Kirk of "pushing hatred onto others" among other insults.
Wilmington
A mural painted on a spirit rock at UNC Wilmington was defaced with colors of the trans flag by young socialist progressives.
Winston-Salem
In one story with a happy ending, Rep. Pat Harrigan contacted Wake Forest University about an employee saying Kirk "had it coming". The employee was subsequently fired and Harrigan indicates Wake Forest will support a Turning Point chapter on campus.
This is far from an exhaustive list. "Both Sides" is a ploy to get conservatives from talking about the abhorrent behavior of today's activists within the Democrat Party.
"The radical Left cannot erase the life and memory of Charlie Kirk. The movement he led to bring conservative values and involvement in politics directly to college campuses and beyond will reverberate for generations," said NCGOP Communications Director Matt Mercer.
