Prime Minister Janez Janša holds a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum

Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia Janez Janša held a series of bilateral meetings with senior foreign officials on the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum. The meetings focused on exchanging views on current European and international challenges and on strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

The Prime Minister held separate meetings with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar. The discussions focused on bilateral relations, the current situation in the European Union and key foreign policy, security and economic challenges.

Prime Minister Janša also held bilateral talks with President of the Republic of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Atanas Pekanov.

As part of his meetings with senior representatives of international organisations, the Prime Minister held talks with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset. He also met with General Carsten Breuer, Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, and Major General Roman Urbanč, Slovenia's military representative to the NATO Military Committee.

The intensive bilateral activity on the occasion of this year's Bled Strategic Forum confirms its role as an important platform for direct dialogue on the future of Europe and further strengthens Slovenia's role as an active interlocutor in discussions on key European and international issues.
