HACU and Las Vegas Sands partner to offer Sands Hospitality Advancement Scholarships
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has partnered with Las Vegas Sands to offer 10 Sands Hospitality Advancement Scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each to college students enrolled at the following HACU-member institutions:
- University of North Texas (Main Campus/Denton)
- University of Nevada Las Vegas
The scholarships are available to all undergraduate students majoring in Hospitality (or related field with an interest in working in the hospitality industry) who also meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled for spring 2025 semester/quarter and intend to enroll in the fall 2025 semester/quarter.
- Must be enrolled part-time or full-time.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
